Job Overview

University of Colombo is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Laboratory Attendant Grade III.

Position Details

Laboratory Attendant – Grade III

• Organization: University of Colombo
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Grade: UPL 2 (III)

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six (06) subjects
• At least two (02) credit passes
• Qualifications obtained in not more than two sittings

AND

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 proficiency certificate relevant to the post
• Certificate should be issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)

Option 2

• Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six (06) subjects
• At least two (02) credit passes in not more than two sittings

AND

• Minimum one (01) year working experience in a relevant field with industrial skills

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Salary Scale

• Salary Scale: UPL 2 (III)
• Rs. 44,575 – 52,415 per month.

Method of Recruitment

Selection will be based on:

• Trade Test
