Educational Qualifications

External Candidates

Applicants should possess:

• A Degree in:
  • Public Administration
  • Business Administration
  • Economics

recognized by the University Grants Commission

AND

• Minimum one (01) year post-qualifying experience related to:
  • Planning
  • Project implementation

at managerial capacity in:

• Government Departments
• Corporations
• Boards
• Reputed Mercantile Establishments

Internal Candidates

Applicants should possess:

• Qualifications required for external candidates

OR

• Minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in the post of:
  • Management Assistant Non-Technological (MA 1-2)

WITH

• Minimum one (01) year relevant experience related to Planning or Project Implementation

Salary Scale

• JM 1-1
• Rs. 72,650 – 122,970

Current Salary as at 01.01.2026

• Approximately Rs. 65,633/-
• Government-approved allowances applicable

• Structured Interview

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 22 years
• Maximum age: 45 years
• Maximum age limit will not apply to internal candidates
