1️⃣ Assistant Commissioner of Welfare

(Project Finance Management & Reporting)

2️⃣ Assistant Commissioner of Welfare

(Finance)
Salary Category: MM 1-1
Number of Vacancies: 01

Both positions are senior-level management roles responsible for financial oversight, welfare project management, and reporting within the Welfare Benefits Board.

🎓 Educational Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must satisfy one of the following qualification paths.

Option 1 – Degree + Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Finance Management
  • Project Management
  • Commerce
  • Business Studies
  • Or another related field recognized by the UGC

AND

• Minimum 01 year of post-qualifying experience in a relevant field after obtaining the degree.

Option 2 – Professional Qualification

Applicants who have passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized Chartered Professional Institute relevant to the field may also apply.

AND

• Minimum 01 year of post-qualifying experience in the relevant field.

Internal Candidates

Internal applicants must:

• Possess the qualifications required for external candidates.

💰 Salary Scale

According to the advertisement (Page 2):

Salary Scale:
Rs. 91,690 – 10 × 2,480 – 15 × 3,450 – Rs. 168,240

Basic Salary Step:
Rs. 81,710 (as per DMS Circular No. 01/2025)

Additional benefits include:

• Government approved allowances
• Communication facilities according to Treasury circulars

🎂 Age Limit

Applicants must:

• Be not less than 22 years
• Be not more than 45 years

📌 The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.

📋 General Conditions

According to the recruitment notice (Page 2):

• Recruitment will be conducted based on merit at the interview.
• These are permanent positions.
• Selected candidates will be placed on a 3-year probation period before confirmation.

💵 Monthly Remuneration & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

• Salary under MM 1-1-2025 government salary scale
• Government approved allowances
• EPF contributions
  • Employee: 8%
  • Employer: 12%
• Additional 3% contribution to Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF) by the Welfare Benefits Board.
