Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate warehouse operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily inbound (receiving) and outbound (dispatch) warehouse activities.
• Ensure efficient put-away processes and optimum warehouse space utilization.
• Supervise unloading, inspection, verification, picking, packing, and staging of cargo.
• Ensure compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for order fulfillment and cargo handling.
• Monitor inventory movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain data accuracy.
• Lead scheduled cycle counts and wall-to-wall stock takes while investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Report stock variances, damages, and short-expired items while managing quarantine areas effectively.
• Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse assistants, checkers, and equipment operators.
• Conduct on-the-job training on material handling, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and WMS scanning.
• Monitor daily productivity and provide performance feedback to warehouse management.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring proper use of PPE and material handling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with specialized storage requirements including temperature monitoring, pest control, and quality audits where applicable.
• Prepare daily warehouse performance reports covering throughput, order accuracy, and labor utilization.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve warehouse layouts, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization by implementing 5S principles.
