Job Summary

The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing new corporate relationships, strengthening existing client portfolios, managing credit proposals, leading relationship management teams, and implementing corporate banking strategies to achieve business growth while maintaining portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new corporate relationships while strengthening existing revenue-generating client relationships.
• Evaluate and submit quality credit proposals and reviews.
• Improve portfolio quality and implement corporate banking strategies to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
• Lead and manage a team comprising Junior and Senior Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and Operations staff.
• Mentor team members to achieve individual job targets and departmental objectives.
• Contribute to overall business strategy through market analysis, competitor analysis, trade flow analysis, and innovative deal structuring.
• Stay updated with market developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor customer accounts closely and implement preventive measures to maintain a healthy portfolio.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Fully qualified with a suitable academic or professional qualification in:
  • Banking
  • Finance
  • Or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of banking experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a corporate banking portfolio within commercial banking or project financing.
