Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations including PDPA, GDPR, and other privacy laws
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas
• Work closely with internal departments to integrate data protection into business processes
• Serve as the point of contact for data protection queries and concerns from employees and customers
• Report data protection breaches to regulatory authorities when required
• Organize and deliver training sessions to improve awareness of data privacy and security best practices

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data protection, information security, or compliance-related roles
• Strong understanding of PDPA, GDPR, and information security principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and communication abilities
• Certifications in data protection or information security such as CIPP, CDPSE, CIPM, CISA, CISM, or CISSP will be an added advantage
