Insurance Portfolio to be Managed

The selected candidate will oversee insurance-related matters connected to:

• Professional Indemnity Policy
• Workmen Compensation Insurance
• Directors’ Medical Insurance
• Money in Transit Insurance
• Directors’ Liability Insurance
• Fire Insurance
• Group Medical Insurance Cover
• Public Liability Insurance – Car Park
• Electronic Equipment Policy
• Public Liability Policy – Medical Centers
• Motor Vehicle Insurance

Key Responsibilities

• Handle insurance claims from submission to settlement
• Manage insurance policy renewals before expiry
• Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and internal departments
• Handle insurance-related payments and follow-ups
• Maintain insurance schedules, policy records, claim files, and renewal documents
• Review policy coverage, terms, exclusions, premiums, and claim requirements
• Prepare insurance summaries, renewal reports, and claim updates for management
• Identify insurance coverage gaps and recommend improvements

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
  • Insurance
  • Risk Management
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Management
    or a related field

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
  • General insurance
  • Corporate insurance
  • Claims handling
  • Insurance brokering
  • Insurance company operations
• Prior experience handling corporate insurance portfolios will be highly preferred

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of general insurance policies and procedures
• Understanding of:
  • Policy renewals
  • Premium payments
  • Documentation
  • Exclusions and deductibles
  • Settlement procedures
• Ability to identify risk exposures and coverage gaps
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy
