Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Polymer Science, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline from a recognized university or institution
• Professional qualifications from a recognized professional body will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the flexible packaging industry
• Strong understanding of research and development technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in product formulation and new product development processes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development initiatives within the packaging manufacturing process
• Develop innovative flexible packaging solutions for food processing industries
• Conduct research on current and emerging packaging technologies
• Formulate and develop new products according to customer and market requirements
• Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams for product improvements
• Analyze product performance and recommend enhancements
• Support continuous innovation and process optimization initiatives
• Prepare technical reports and presentations related to R&D activities
