Position Details

The Quality Controller / Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining production, quality control and dispatch-related data within the banana packing plant.

The role supports smooth information flow for inventory management, traceability, reporting and quality control activities.

SRG Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is involved in plantation activities and the production of fresh fruits including mango, guava, banana and dragon fruit.

The company was established in 2000 and currently operates two farms with nearly 250 employees. The company supplies the local market and caters to export requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• G.C.E. Advanced Level or equivalent qualification in administration or a related field will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of basic data management systems.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, packing or agricultural industry is preferred.
• Previous experience in data entry or quality-related work will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter daily production, quality and dispatch data.
• Maintain accurate records of raw material intake, packaging usage and final product dispatch.
• Verify data accuracy by cross-checking with supervisors and production staff.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested by management.
• Support the quality control team by documenting inspection and grading results.
• Assist with generating labels, packing lists and export documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate information for inventory management, traceability and reporting purposes.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Basic understanding of data management systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with production and quality control teams.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Accuracy in maintaining production and quality records.
• Candidates residing in Mahiyanganaya, Kandy, Polonnaruwa or Anuradhapura will be given preference.
