Position Details

The Executive – Credit will assist the Head of Credit in building a quality lending portfolio by evaluating credit facilities submitted by the branch network, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit controls, and monitoring granted facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in credit or a similar role in a reputed financial institution.
• Full or part professional qualification in Banking from a recognized professional body.
• A Degree or professional qualification in Credit Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, investigation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness.
• A collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Proficiency in Tamil language will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in Excel will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Credit in building a quality lending portfolio.
• Evaluate credit facilities submitted for approval by the branch network.
• Ensure credit disbursements are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal credit controls.
• Assist with the recovery and legal action relating to customers assigned by the Head of Credit.
• Conduct Post Credit Monitoring of granted facilities.
