Position Details

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising daily site construction activities, monitoring project schedules and quality standards, preparing progress reports and coordinating with the Project Manager, MEP teams, consultants and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, NDT, HNDE, NDES or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in multi-story building projects.
• Previous experience working on hotel, resort or commercial developments will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of structural execution and site supervision.
• Experience in quantity surveying will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in Mannar.
• Tamil language skills will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site construction activities to ensure adherence to architectural drawings.
• Monitor project progress against scheduled timelines.
• Maintain strict quality control standards.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Verify subcontractor measurement sheets.
• Coordinate effectively with the Project Manager, MEP teams and consultants.
• Support the successful execution of construction activities in accordance with project requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong site supervision skills.
• Good understanding of structural execution.
• Knowledge of construction project schedules and quality standards.
• Ability to prepare accurate daily and weekly progress reports.
• Subcontractor coordination and measurement verification skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, MEP teams and consultants.
• Quantity surveying skills will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in Mannar.
• Tamil language proficiency will be an advantage.
