Selected applicants may be assigned to any VTA work station islandwide based on service requirements.

Salary Scale

As per Public Administration Circular No. 01/2025:

• Salary Scale: Rs. 64,320 – 10 x 1,360 – 15 x 1,670 – 5 x 2,040 – 113,170
• Salary Step from 01.01.2025: Rs. 58,598.00
• Government approved allowances applicable

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate vocational training programmes and institutional activities.
• Assist in operational administration and programme implementation.
• Prepare programme reports, documentation, and progress records.
• Coordinate with training centers, instructors, trainees, and stakeholders.
• Support institutional planning and development activities.
• Maintain operational and administrative records accurately.
• Assist management in achieving programme objectives and service delivery targets.

Required Qualifications

External Applicants

Applicants should possess:

• A Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Internal Applicants

Applicants should possess:

• Qualifications required for external applicants

OR

• Minimum 08 years of satisfactory service in a:
  • Management Assistant – Non-Technical category (MA 1-2).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 22 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years

The age limit does not apply to officers already employed in government or statutory institutions.

• Written competitive examination and/or
• Structured interview conducted by an approved board
