Selected candidates may be assigned to the following airports:

• Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)
• Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA)
• Jaffna International Airport (JIA)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide effective consultation and medical management for patients referred to airport medical centers.
• Attend to all medical emergencies involving staff and passengers.
• Conduct routine medical checkups for airport staff.
• Remain on-call during airport emergency alerts when required.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the medical officer panel under the supervision of the Company Medical Officer.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Valid Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registration.
• Minimum 04 years of post-intern work experience as a Medical Officer in:
  • Government hospitals
  • Reputed private sector hospitals

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in:
  • Emergency care
  • Anaesthesia
  • PCU/ICU settings
  • Public health
• Experience working at international airports (local or foreign)
• Postgraduate Aviation Medicine qualifications
• Residence close to the respective airport location

Only candidates below the government retirement age will be considered.

Duty Shifts

Day Duty

• 08.00 hrs – 12.00 hrs
• 12.00 hrs – 17.00 hrs

Evening Duty

• 17.00 hrs – 20.00 hrs

Night Duty

• 20.00 hrs – 08.00 hrs (Following Day)

• Ability to work under pressure
• Patient care and crisis management skills
• Professional ethics and confidentiality
