Job Description

The Procurement Assistant will support the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and performance monitoring. The role requires analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate local and international suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms
• Assist the Operations Manager in procurement processes
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities
• Identify sourcing risks and opportunities
• Improve sourcing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain and update the supplier database

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good relationship management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
