Job Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients safely and accurately.
• Correctly identify patients and label specimens according to procedures.
• Maintain hygiene, infection control, and laboratory safety standards.
• Prepare and handle specimens for laboratory testing.
• Provide compassionate patient care and reassurance during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with laboratory staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and safety protocols at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or training in:
  • Phlebotomy
  • Nursing
  • Medical Laboratory Practices
• Prior experience in blood collection will be considered an added advantage.
• Good communication and patient handling skills.
• Knowledge of specimen collection procedures and infection control practices.
• Ability to work carefully, efficiently, and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
