Job Overview

Cargills Bank is seeking qualified and high-performing individuals to support and manage the Bank’s critical IT applications, including Core Banking, Treasury, Trade, Loan Management, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth application operations, system upgrades, compliance management, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing end-user support and guidance for:
  • Core Banking systems
  • Treasury systems
  • Trade systems
  • Loan Management systems
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems
• Managing fixes and software upgrades through testing and user acceptance procedures
• Following up with users to ensure reported issues are resolved
• Escalating urgent technical and operational issues promptly
• Supporting implementation and maintenance of:
  • PCI DSS standards
  • ISO standards
  • Risk and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A degree or equivalent professional qualification in:
  • IT
  • Software Engineering
  • Related discipline
• A master’s degree will be considered an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial sector
• Prior knowledge of:
  • Intellect Core-Banking
  • Treasury systems
  • Trade systems
  • Loan Management systems
    will be advantageous
• Strong exposure to:
  • Risk management
  • Audit functions
  • Compliance procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
