About the Role

The selected candidate will oversee:

• POS systems
• Kitchen display systems
• Reservation platforms
• Online ordering integrations
• Back-office networks

The role focuses on ensuring smooth restaurant operations with minimal system downtime during peak business hours.

Key Responsibilities

POS & Operations Support

• Manage and troubleshoot POS hardware and software
• Maintain kitchen display systems (KDS) and receipt printers
• Optimize third-party delivery and online ordering integrations
• Manage guest Wi-Fi networks and reservation software

Infrastructure & Security

• Configure and maintain:
  • Networks
  • Routers
  • Firewalls
• Manage CCTV surveillance systems
• Maintain back-office computer hardware
• Implement backup procedures for sales and financial records
• Ensure PCI compliance for secure card processing

Technical Support & Maintenance

• Provide on-call support during weekend and evening peak hours
• Conduct preventive maintenance on restaurant hardware
• Train restaurant managers and staff on software systems
• Coordinate with internet service providers and software vendors

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2+ years of IT experience
• Experience in:
  • Hospitality industry
  • Retail technology environments
• Hands-on experience with restaurant POS systems
• Strong networking knowledge including:
  • Routing
  • Switching
  • Firewall configuration
• Ability to travel frequently between restaurant locations
