Informatics Institute of Technology is inviting applications for the position of ICT Teacher cum Program Coordinator under the Digital and Distance Learning (DDL) Department.

This full-time role focuses on delivering ICT education, supporting digital learning initiatives, and coordinating school programme activities across partner schools in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting ICT lessons for students aged 6–19
• Teaching Primary, Middle School, and Upper School students
• Delivering lessons based on:
  • National Curriculum
  • Local syllabuses
  • International syllabuses
• Preparing lesson plans and interactive classroom activities
• Supporting student learning through theory and practical sessions
• Preparing study materials, syllabi, and related content
• Handling examination-related duties including:
  • Paper setting
  • Invigilation
  • Marking
• Managing classroom discipline and student engagement
• Collaborating with teachers and contributing to curriculum development
• Conducting revision and support sessions for O/L and A/L ICT students
• Handling teaching-related administrative duties
• Participating in meetings, events, and school activities
• Supporting promotional and marketing activities related to IIT school programmes

Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Degree, Diploma, or HND in ICT or a related field
• ICT as a major component in qualifications
• Prior teaching experience or teaching-related qualifications will be an advantage
• Passion for teaching and working with students
• Strong communication skills in:
  • English
  • Sinhala
• Tamil language proficiency will be considered an added advantage
