Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and report on the annual Information Systems (IS) Audit Plan
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, systems, applications, and related processes
• Review IT governance, information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber security controls
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions with appropriate risk ratings
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of action plans
• Coordinate with IT teams, regulators, external auditors, and internal stakeholders
• Prepare accurate audit reports for Senior Management and Audit Committee
• Stay updated on emerging IT risks and regulatory developments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as CISA is mandatory
• CISM or CISSP qualifications will be an added advantage
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Information Systems Audit
  • IT Risk Management
  • IT Controls
  • Banking or Financial Services sector
• Strong knowledge of:
  • COBIT
  • ISO 27001
  • IT auditing standards
  • IT general controls
  • Application controls
• Experience auditing core banking systems and financial applications will be an added advantage
