Position Details

Position: Intern – Operations

The Intern – Operations will support the Operations Department in handling CDS account administration, KYC compliance, IPO-related activities, corporate actions, and various operational functions within the stockbroking business.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in capital markets and stockbroking operations.
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of financial markets will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in CDS account opening and maintenance, including documentation and data verification.
• Support operational activities related to IPOs, margin trading, and corporate actions.
• Ensure accuracy in KYC documentation and compliance requirements.
• Assist in processing rights issues, dividends, and other market transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational workflows.
• Maintain accurate operational records and assist with reporting requirements.
• Perform administrative and operational duties assigned by the department.
