Position Details

The HR Assistant will support the HR department with recruitment, employee documentation, attendance and leave administration, statutory HR processes, employee engagement, training coordination, and day-to-day administrative activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or Administration.
• Hotel industry experience will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Basic knowledge of Sri Lankan labour regulations, including EPF/ETF processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and onboarding.
• Prepare HR documentation and appointment letters and maintain employee records.
• Support attendance, leave administration, and payroll-related documentation.
• Handle EPF registration and statutory HR documentation.
• Assist with employee engagement, welfare, and HR events.
• Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department.
