Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Shipping & Logistics or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a documentation function.
• Good knowledge of import documentation processes.
• Knowledge of Sri Lanka Customs and Ports Authority rules and regulations.
• Strong customer-service mindset with good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day import documentation activities.
• Download, verify, and upload manifests within required deadlines.
• Handle timely release of EDOs and preparation of arrival notices and invoices.
• Prepare and update Cargo Manifests/e-Manifests for Sri Lanka Customs and SLPA.
• Liaise with overseas principals, local customers, and consignees regarding import shipments and related documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding inbound shipments, charges, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate information in shipping and documentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO procedures, company policies, HSSE requirements, and regulatory requirements.
