Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation of the Treasury Risk Management function
• Ensure effective implementation of the Equity Risk Management function
• Design and implement the overall Market Risk Management framework
• Prepare Market Risk Management reports for:
  • Management Committees
  • BIRMC
  • Board of Directors
• Develop Market Risk Management policies and procedures
• Support risk assessment and compliance activities within the organization

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in:
  • Management
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Banking

OR

• Full or part professional qualification such as:
  • CFA
  • CIMA
  • ACCA
  • CA Sri Lanka

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a reputed bank or financial institution in a relevant field

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and financial risk assessment skills
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Knowledge of treasury and equity risk management
• Ability to prepare reports and develop risk policies
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
