Qualifications & Experience

• National Certificate in Technology (NCT) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Drafting Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institute such as German Tech or CGTTI.
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in drafting for major construction or civil engineering projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.
• Experience in preparing structural steel shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) detailing.
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination drawings.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit or other Building Information Modeling (BIM) software will be an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing As-Built drawings based on site modifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.
• Produce structural steel shop drawings and reinforced concrete detailing.
• Prepare coordinated MEP shop drawings for construction activities.
• Update and modify drawings to produce accurate As-Built documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain drafting standards and technical documentation.
• Support project execution by delivering drawings within project timelines.
• Assist with BIM-related drafting activities where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
