Job Description

Cargills Bank PLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager for its Corporate Branch operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving branch business goals, ensuring operational excellence, driving customer acquisition, and maintaining superior customer service standards.

The role also involves leading branch staff, implementing business development strategies, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve overall business development goals assigned to the branch
• Implement branch strategies suitable for the branch geography
• Ensure customer acquisition targets are achieved through regular customer visits
• Maintain operational excellence and compliance with banking regulations and policies
• Lead and motivate customer-facing staff in cross-selling and business development activities
• Ensure superior customer service standards across branch operations

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of work experience in a commercial bank
• At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Branch Manager or Credit Officer
• Strong marketing, credit, and operational banking knowledge
• Full or part qualification in Banking or recognized professional qualifications
• Trilingual conversational ability will be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Service-oriented and performance-driven mindset
