Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university with Attorney-at-Law qualification
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Corporate Law and/or Securities Law
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, securities law, and applicable legal frameworks
- Understanding of regulatory requirements under the SEC Act and capital market operations
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate, review, and implement rules, regulations, and policies for the CSE Group
- Support regulatory compliance for business operations and financial market activities
- Coordinate approvals for new rules and amendments with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare board papers, committee papers, and policy documentation
- Conduct legal and regulatory research on international and local capital market frameworks
- Ensure timely updates and implementation of rule books and regulatory guidelines
- Provide recommendations to improve governance and regulatory effectiveness
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and legal research skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities
- Strong understanding of securities regulation and capital markets
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
