Job Description

The Area Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing field teams, ensuring smooth bancassurance operations, and improving overall business performance. The role involves leadership, performance monitoring, and customer-focused service delivery across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and drive business performance by achieving sales targets
• Lead, monitor, and coach sales teams for high performance
• Ensure smooth, customer-focused operations with partner banks
• Execute promotional campaigns to support business growth
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and provide feedback
• Handle staff training, motivation, and productivity improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully or partly qualified in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance (SLIM/CIM preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification (added advantage)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in life insurance / bancassurance / banking / marketing
• At least 2 years in an executive role with business development exposure
• Age preferably below 50 years

• Good computer literacy and proficiency in Sinhala/Tamil/English
