Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, MEP Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a local condominium construction or consulting firm specializing in MEP drafting and coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
• Experience working with BIM workflows, including clash detection, model coordination, version control, and quantity extraction.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings using Revit based on project specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for MEP materials and assist with cost estimation.
• Review and update shop drawings to align with architectural and structural drawings.
• Identify and resolve MEP-related discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on site modifications and project updates.
• Support BIM coordination activities and maintain drawing revisions.
• Deliver accurate drawings and coordination reports within project deadlines.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and MEP coordination.
• Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
