The organization is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Associate (AP) to support accounts payable operations and financial administration activities.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting daily accounting activities. The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of customer service while ensuring timely and accurate accounts payable processing.
• Manage daily operational activities related to accounts payable services.
• Maintain records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial reports and management documentation when required.
• Handle creditors’ file maintenance and monthly reconciliations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AP team activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and financial controls.
• Support finance team operations and reporting functions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Reading for or possessing professional/academic qualifications in:
  • ICASL
  • CIMA
  • ACCA
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines effectively.
• Candidates residing in the Western Province will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and reconciliations
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Professional attitude and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP software will be an added advantage
