Job Overview

Nawaloka Hospitals PLC is seeking a dedicated Senior Tutor to join its professional team and contribute to the development of healthcare professionals through effective training, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Nursing, Healthcare Education, or a relevant healthcare discipline.
• Registered Nurse with valid Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC) registration.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with proven experience in staff training and development.
• Previous experience as a Nurse Educator, Clinical Instructor, or Senior Tutor will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical practices, and healthcare training methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop training materials, conduct assessments, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS) will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct training programs for nursing and healthcare staff.
• Develop training materials, presentations, and educational resources according to organizational requirements.
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to nursing teams.
• Conduct competency assessments and evaluate staff performance and learning outcomes.
• Identify training needs and develop continuous education programs.
• Facilitate orientation and induction programs for newly recruited staff.
• Ensure training programs align with hospital policies, clinical standards, and best practices.
• Maintain training records, attendance reports, and evaluation documentation.
• Collaborate with department heads and clinical teams to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
