Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmacy stores, inventory management, or a similar role. Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, storage requirements, and inventory control principles.
- Familiarity with drug regulations, NMRA guidelines, and Good Storage Practices.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify pharmaceutical and medical supply deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO and FEFO methods.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions and the security of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reorders to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Issue medicines and supplies to departments and units according to approved requests.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation, including stock ledgers, Goods Received Notes, and bin cards.
