Qualifications & Experience
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification in any stream.
- Diploma or Certificate in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferable.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain records accurately.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, transfers and discharge-related communication.
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, patients and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of patient care.
- Maintain and update patient records, schedules and related documentation accurately.
- Assist in arranging consultations, investigations and follow-up appointments.
- Handle telephone and in-person inquiries professionally.
- Communicate relevant updates to patients and healthcare staff promptly.
- Coordinate with relevant hospital departments regarding patient services and schedules.
- Assist with the smooth flow of medical and administrative activities.
- Prepare reports, perform data entry and handle other administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with patients, doctors and hospital staff.
