Qualifications & Experience
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification in any stream.
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, stores or supply chain operations.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferable.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, stock handling and documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication, coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately, maintain records and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, storage and distribution of medical supplies and other hospital materials.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with timely reordering of required items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, issue notes, GRNs and related documentation.
- Coordinate with departments, stores and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items.
- Check incoming items for quantity, condition and documentation accuracy.
- Assist in stock counts, audits and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare logistics reports and maintain relevant records.
- Support the efficient movement and storage of hospital supplies.
- Ensure proper documentation for received and issued items.
- Identify stock discrepancies and report them to the relevant supervisor.
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong inventory control and stock management skills.
- Good documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work with suppliers and internal departments.
- Good numerical and basic analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Responsible and systematic approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
