Educational Qualifications

External Candidates

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC); OR
• Any other equivalent degree from a university or institution recognized by the UGC.
• Computer Literacy.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualifying experience relevant to the field of Sales or Marketing.
• Experience should be gained in a Public Institution, Corporation, Board, Statutory Board or reputed Mercantile Establishment.

Internal Candidates

Internal applicants should either:

• Possess the qualifications required for external candidates; OR
• Have completed a minimum of 5 years of satisfactory service in a Junior Manager (JM 1-1) post in a subject area relevant to the position.

Salary

Salary Scale: MM 1-1
Rs. 91,690 – 10 × Rs. 2,480 – 15 × Rs. 3,450 – Rs. 168,240

According to the advertisement, the starting salary point for 2026 is Rs. 81,710/-, while the basic salary of Rs. 91,690/- will be applicable from 01 January 2027.

Government-approved allowances will also be paid in addition to the above salary.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 22 years
• Maximum age: 45 years
• The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

Recruitment will be conducted through:

• Written Competitive Examination
• Structured Interview
