Embark Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is seeking qualified and committed candidates for the position of Site Supervisor on a contract basis for civil renovation works under the Primary Healthcare System Enhancing Project (PHSEP) of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.

The selected candidates will supervise civil renovation works at healthcare facilities and ensure that construction activities comply with approved specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedules.

Company Overview

Embark Holdings (Pvt) Ltd provides technical and construction management support services for major infrastructure development projects across Sri Lanka.

The company is recruiting Site Supervisors for deployment under the Primary Healthcare System Enhancing Project (PHSEP) of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess any one of the following qualifications:

• NVQ Level 5 in Civil Engineering; or
• National Certificate of Technology (NCT) in Civil Engineering; or
• Any other qualification recognized by a relevant statutory professional body or institute in Sri Lanka; or
• An equivalent qualification in Building or Construction Technology (Civil Engineering).

Experience:

• Minimum 18 months of experience in civil construction works.
• Previous experience in Government-funded construction projects will be considered a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil renovation works at healthcare facilities.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved specifications.
• Monitor compliance with required quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to construction safety requirements.
• Monitor project activities according to approved schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee site-level construction activities.
• Support the successful implementation of renovation works under the PHSEP project.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge of civil construction practices.
• Ability to supervise construction and renovation activities effectively.
• Good understanding of construction quality and safety requirements.
• Ability to work according to project specifications and schedules.
• Good site coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in assigned districts and project locations.
• Previous experience in Government-funded construction projects is an added advantage.

Preferred Additional Qualification:

• Valid Motorcycle Riding Licence and/or Light Vehicle Driving Licence issued by the Department of Motor Traffic, Sri Lanka.
