Position Details

The Audit Officer will be responsible for conducting internal audits, identifying risks, reviewing internal controls and financial processes, and supporting management in strengthening compliance and risk management.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant professional qualification in:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Construction Management
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Civil Engineering
  • Or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in internal/external auditing, accounting, or a similar role.
• Experience in a Big Four accounting firm or the construction industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different divisions.
• Candidates residing in or around Kurunegala are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of company operations and processes.
• Identify risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Review internal controls and financial processes.
• Prepare audit findings and recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support management in strengthening risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
