Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a credit-related role.
• Full or Part professional qualification in Banking.
• Professional qualifications in Credit Management or International Trade will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Marketing-oriented personality with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work in a target-driven banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet prospective customers and provide suitable financial solutions to support new customer acquisition.
• Assist the Branch Manager in achieving annual credit targets and business growth objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, including financial analysis, operational analysis, risk analysis, and other required assessments.
• Liaise with the Bank’s credit approving authorities to obtain timely approvals.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits together with the Branch Manager or Relationship Manager.
• Conduct periodic reviews of revolving and other credit facilities.
• Monitor the branch credit portfolio and provide practical solutions for customers experiencing repayment difficulties.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
