Job Title: Senior Team Leader – Airfares & Ticketing

Job Summary

The Senior Team Leader will oversee daily airline ticketing operations, provide technical guidance to junior ticketing staff, ensure ticketing accuracy, and maintain high operational standards. The successful candidate must possess advanced GDS knowledge and hands-on airfare ticketing experience.

Key Responsibilities

Airfare & Ticketing Operations

• Price airline itineraries accurately.
• Issue airline tickets using GDS platforms.
• Handle ticket reissues, including date changes and rerouting on the same airline.
• Process ticket refunds efficiently.
• Issue and refund Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs).
• Manage ticketing queues and resolve PNR-related issues.

Airfare Knowledge

• Apply practical knowledge of airfare ticketing procedures.
• Handle fare penalties and tax changes.
• Process cabin upgrades and downgrades.
• Perform rerouting on the same airline.
• Conduct fare rule checks before ticket issuance.
• Minimize ADM (Agency Debit Memo) risks through accurate ticketing.

Team Leadership

• Support and mentor junior ticketing executives.
• Review ticket accuracy before issuance.
• Train team members on GDS best practices.
• Maintain consistent operational standards and service quality.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Strong practical experience in airfare and airline ticketing.
• Excellent working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Leadership experience in a ticketing or reservations environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
