Job Summary

The Technician will operate, maintain, and repair paper bag manufacturing machinery, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operations

• Operate and monitor paper bag manufacturing machines.
• Achieve daily production targets with minimal machine downtime.
• Ensure production quality standards are maintained throughout operations.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Carry out minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement timely solutions.
• Support continuous machine performance improvements.

Production Support

• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards within the production area.
• Support smooth production operations through effective equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Technical qualification (NVQ, Certificate, or Diploma) in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Technology
  • Or related technical fields.
• Previous experience in paper bag or packaging machinery will be an added advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
