Qualifications & Experience

• NDT, NDES, HND (Electrical), or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organization.
• Experience in the tyre manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems, including drivers and motor controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and PLC-based automation systems.
• Install, commission, and modify electrical systems for new or upgraded machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, repair histories, and preventive maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and external service providers for maintenance and repair activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
