Qualifications & Experience

Requirements vary depending on the position.

• Medical Officer: Registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) with at least 5 years’ experience as a Medical Officer.
• Nursing Officer / Nurses: Registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council or minimum 5 years’ nursing experience.
• Trainee Pharmacists: G.C.E. A/L in the Science stream and G.C.E. O/L pass in English.
• Trainee Dispenser / Trainee Nurses / Nursing Assistant: G.C.E. A/L and G.C.E. O/L with Science and Mathematics.
• Accounts Assistant: G.C.E. A/L in the Commerce stream with relevant professional qualifications.
• Public Relation Officer: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• IT Technician / Computer Operator / Cashier / Receptionist / Telephone Operator: G.C.E. A/L in any stream, a recognized computer qualification, and relevant work experience. Reception/front office experience is preferred.
• Bio Medical Technician / Trainee Bio Medical Technician: G.C.E. A/L Science stream with professional qualifications.
• MLT / Trainee MLT: G.C.E. A/L Science stream with professional qualifications.
• Maintenance Supervisor / Transport Supervisor: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Hospital Assistant / Cleaner / Wheelchair Operator: Passed Grade 8, below 55 years of age (Male/Female).
• Driver: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with at least 5 years’ experience.
• Trainee Electrician: Relevant technical training or willingness to undergo training.
