Qualifications & Experience

External Candidates

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination with at least six (06) subjects, including two (02) credit passes, in not more than two sittings.
• Hold a valid Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.
• Minimum of 03 years’ driving experience after obtaining the driving licence.

Internal Candidates

Applicants should:

• Hold a valid Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.
• Have a minimum of 03 years’ driving experience after obtaining the driving licence.
• Have completed at least 05 years of satisfactory service in the PL-1 or PL-2 Primary Skilled Service grades.

Age Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for official duties.
• Transport staff, visitors, and official documents as assigned.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Follow traffic regulations and company transport policies.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and travel records.
• Perform additional transport-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Excellent driving skills with a strong safety record.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan road rules and regulations.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Time management and punctuality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work anywhere in Sri Lanka if required.
• Professional attitude and high level of responsibility.
