Qualifications & Experience
External Candidates
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination with at least six (06) subjects, including two (02) credit passes, in not more than two sittings.
- Hold a valid Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.
- Minimum of 03 years’ driving experience after obtaining the driving licence.
Internal Candidates
Applicants should:
- Hold a valid Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.
- Have a minimum of 03 years’ driving experience after obtaining the driving licence.
- Have completed at least 05 years of satisfactory service in the PL-1 or PL-2 Primary Skilled Service grades.
Age Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for official duties.
- Transport staff, visitors, and official documents as assigned.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Follow traffic regulations and company transport policies.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and travel records.
- Perform additional transport-related duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Excellent driving skills with a strong safety record.
- Good knowledge of Sri Lankan road rules and regulations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Time management and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work anywhere in Sri Lanka if required.
- Professional attitude and high level of responsibility.
