Position Details

Position: Audit Trainee

The Audit Trainee will support the internal audit function by assisting with audit assignments, learning audit methodologies, and contributing to compliance and operational reviews under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate at a recognized UGC-approved university.
• Registered student of CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• Passionate about building a long-term career in the banking and finance industry.
• Previous internship or audit exposure will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with internal audit assignments and audit documentation.
• Support audit planning and fieldwork activities.
• Review financial and operational records under supervision.
• Assist in identifying compliance and operational risks.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Participate in audit meetings and discussions.
• Learn and apply internal audit procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Internal Audit Department.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
