Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should satisfy the qualifications relevant to the respective Deputy General Manager position.

Deputy General Manager (Engineering Services and Constructions)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Membership or Fellowship of a recognized professional institution relevant to the field.
• Minimum of 15 years of managerial experience in government, government corporations, boards, statutory institutions, or reputed private sector organizations.
• Internal applicants should possess the required service experience specified by the Authority.

Deputy General Manager (Planning, Research and Development)

• Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the UGC in Economics, Town & Country Planning, Regional Development, Management, Commerce, Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years of managerial experience in the relevant sector.
• Internal applicants should possess the required service experience specified by the Authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership within the assigned division.
• Develop and implement policies, plans, and operational strategies.
• Supervise departmental functions and ensure achievement of organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and development partners.
• Monitor project implementation and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Lead teams, manage resources, and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and policy documents for senior management.
• Support the Authority in achieving national housing development goals.

• Salary Scale: Rs. 152,500 – 15 x 4,100 – 214,000
