Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing management reports, reconciling financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and maintain financial accounts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports.
• Conduct daily reconciliation of financial transactions, receipts, and vouchers.
• Maintain the accounting system and ensure accurate financial record keeping.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.
• Monitor daily accounting activities for compliance with corporate financial regulations.
• Prepare accounting reports required by management.
• Support the finance team in maintaining efficient accounting operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (Commerce Stream).
• Professional qualification in AAT, ICASL, CIMA, or CMA.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Excellent knowledge of financial transactions and accounting practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous audit firm experience will be an added advantage.
