Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing showroom construction and renovation projects while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. The role requires close coordination with architects, contractors, and MEP teams to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and renovation of retail showrooms, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) teams.
• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility assessments for new showroom locations.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure high-quality project finishes that align with company brand standards.
• Supervise construction sites while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously across different locations.
• Monitor project progress and resolve construction-related issues efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in commercial construction or retail fit-out projects.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems (MEP coordination).
• Strong project management and contractor management skills.
• Experience in showroom, retail, or commercial interior projects will be a definite advantage.
• Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
