Job Summary

The Nursing Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, administering treatments and medications, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring the safe operation of medical equipment while supporting the hospital’s commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and continuous patient observation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Handle and operate medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report significant changes.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and infection control procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Previous experience in a similar nursing role will be given priority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Tamil, Sinhala, and English is preferred.
• Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced hospital environment.
