Job Summary

The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing management accounts, leading the accounts team, managing budgeting activities, monitoring factory performance, driving cost-saving initiatives, and supporting management with financial analysis to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead and supervise the Accounts Team.
• Take ownership of the annual budgeting process.
• Assist the Factory Manager in monitoring and reporting factory efficiencies.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the organization.
• Lead KPI review discussions and highlight significant financial variances.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve business performance.
• Support continuous improvement in financial reporting and operational controls.

Candidate Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in management accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Membership of a recognized professional accounting body or equivalent qualification.
• Passed finalists of professional accounting qualifications may also be considered based on relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
