Job Summary

The Merchandiser (Modern Trade) will be responsible for ensuring excellent product visibility, maintaining merchandising standards, monitoring stock availability, building relationships with supermarket and retail management, and supporting sales growth across assigned modern trade outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper product placement and maximum visibility in assigned outlets.
• Maintain approved planograms and merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Ensure product availability while minimizing out-of-stock situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management.
• Collect market intelligence and competitor information.
• Submit regular merchandising and outlet performance reports.
• Maintain merchandising excellence across all assigned modern trade outlets.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of merchandising experience, preferably in the Modern Trade sector.
• Age below 35 years.
• Experience working with supermarkets and retail chains.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising standards.
• Possession of a valid riding license will be an added advantage.
• G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualification.
