Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

• Must be a Senior Administration Grade Medical Officer.
• Must have completed an MD in Medical Administration awarded by the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM), University of Colombo.
• Appointment is subject to a structured interview conducted according to an approved marking scheme of the Board of Directors of SJGH.

Experience

• Minimum of 07 years of experience in Medical Administration.

Age Requirement

• Applicants should be below 60 years of age as of 01 June 2026.

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the hospital.
• Oversee hospital administration, operations, and healthcare service delivery.
• Ensure efficient management of resources, personnel, and facilities.
• Implement policies and procedures to enhance institutional performance.
• Maintain high standards of healthcare quality and patient care.
• Coordinate with government agencies, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
• Support organizational development and long-term institutional goals.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale

• Salary Code: SL 03
• Monthly Salary: Rs. 210,000 – 12 x 6,530 – 288,360

Terms of Employment
